Madiun State Polytechnic D3 Electrical Engineering Study Program

Study Program Profile

The D-III Electrical Engineering study program is one of the oldest study programs with the initial name of the Industrial Electrical Engineering study program. The education period for the diploma III (intermediate expert) Electrical Engineering program is three years or six semesters, with details of five semesters of study on campus including completion of the final study report and one semester used for practical field work (PKL)/internship. Lectures in D-III Electrical Engineering are equivalent to 111 credits with a composition of lecture hours of around 40% theory and 60% practice.

Graduates of the D-III Electrical Engineering study program are expected to have expertise in the field of electricity and electrical power systems. Special expertise and skills possessed by graduates of the D-III Electrical Engineering study program include designing, installing and supervising low voltage to medium voltage 20 KV electrical installations based on SNI, IEC and SPLN procedures and standards, operating and controlling electrical machines using VSD-based control equipment, programmed and computerized systems with IT technology.

The D-III Electrical Engineering study program has three laboratories, namely the Electrical Installation & Machinery Laboratory, the Power Electronics Laboratory and the Industrial Electrical Laboratory.
