Madiun State Polytechnic D3 Accounting Study Program
Study Program Profile
The establishment of the D3 Accounting Study Program was approved by Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Decree Number 1206/KPT/I/2018 dated 28 December 2018. Based on this decision the Accounting Study Program accepted students in the 2019/2020 academic year.
The current development of the D3 Accounting Study Program is providing education for the 2nd generation of the 2020/2021 academic year with a student body of 219 students. Apart from that, the D3 Accounting Study Program as part of PNM and the Computer Accounting Department has developed itself in terms of:
- Collaboration with various universities, government agencies, certification institutions, the banking world and the business or industrial world (DU/DI) in the fields of learning, field work practices, research and community service as well as certification competency tests.
- The D3 Accounting Study Program has involved itself in research and community service and published the results in various media.
- The D3 Accounting Study Program has become part of the journal owned by PNM and the Accounting Computer Department, namelyJournal of Electrical, Electronics, Control and Automotive Engineering(JEECAE) has been accredited SINTA 5; Journal of Accounting and Information Systems (Jurnal AKSI) which has been accredited by SINTA 3; Epicheirisi: Journal of Management, Administration, Marketing and Secretariat and Journal of Community Service (DIKEMAS) which has been accredited by SINTA 5.
- The D3 Accounting Study Program also involves itself and actively plays a role in the development of intellectual property and is supported by the availability of Intellectual Property Rights and Patent work units within the PNM environment.
- The D3 Accounting Study Program actively encourages the academic community to improve competency through the Competency Test Site (TUK) – Accounting Technician service which is owned by the Accounting Computer Department and has collaborated with the Accounting Technician Certification Institute (LSP-TA).
- The D3 Accounting Study Program also collaborates with the Indonesian Stock Exchange and Phintraco Securities in managing the Indonesian Stock Exchange Investment Gallery, Madiun State Polytechnic.
- Other collaborations are carried out with the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) in terms of Tax Brevet training for students, lecturers, employees and the general public.
- The D3 Accounting Study Program supports and is involved in organizing international conferencesInternational Conference on Industrial Automation,Smartgrid and its Application(ICIASGA) andInternational Conference on Economics, Business and Social Humanities(ICONEBS) for the first time in 2020.

Graduate Competencies
- Able to prepare financial reports in accordance with Indonesian financial standards for single entities and entities that have 1 (one) subsidiary by utilizing information technology or manuals in accordance with applicable accounting standards under supervision.
- Able to calculate the cost of production, break-even point for planning and variances for control under supervision.
- Able to prepare operational budgets and financial budgets under supervision.
- Able to identify, calculate, and report income tax (PPn), value added tax (PPN), and luxury goods sales tax (PPnBM) in accordance with the General Provisions for Taxation in Indonesia;
- Able to carry out audit procedures under supervision
- Able to operate and utilize software (number processing applications, data processing applications, presentation applications and accounting applications) in the context of preparing financial reports, budgets, tax administration and auditing.
