Madiun State Polytechnic's Automation Engineering Technology Study Program has specific advantages, namely: Being a Center of Excellence for Education in the field of Industrial Automation with particularities in the Transportation Industry by producing quality and professional graduates to meet the national market with a concentration in the fields of:

1. Design and implementation of automation systems on industrial equipment, especially the transportation industry
2. Development of software knowledge, technology and/or art in automation systems for industrial equipment, especially in the transportation industry
3. Testing and commissioning of automation systems on industrial equipment, especially in the transportation industry
4. Maintenance of electrical and automation systems that apply to industry, especially the transportation industry
5. Utilization of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems in planning production systems in industry, especially the transportation industry
