Proud! Madiun State Polytechnic is the only vocational college in the Red and White Fast Train Consortium

pnm.ac.id– Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to being an innovative and collaborative higher education institution with excellence in the field of sustainable transportation. PNM also signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Joint Research and Development Consortium for the Red and White Fast Train (KCMP) on Thursday (05/02).

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), PT INKA (Persero), PT KAI (Persero), PT Wijaya Kusuma (Persero) Tbk, Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) and eight major universities in Indonesia. It is noted that the Madiun State Polytechnic is the only Vocational College (PTV) that is part of the consortium.

"Madiun State Polytechnic is the only tertiary institution that originates from vocational studies, the others are from large universities in Indonesia." Explained the Director of PNM Dr. Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M who signed the Memorandum of Understanding directly at the Sumitro Djojohadikusumo Auditorium, B.J Building. Habibie, Jakarta.

Furthermore, Dr. Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M. also expressed his pride that PNM could participate in supporting the progress of transportation and research in Indonesia, especially in researching and creating high-speed rail transportation modes created by the nation's children.

"So we should be proud that the Madiun State Polytechnic has been recognized by researchers who are members of the BRIN consortium, industry and universities to jointly research modes of transportation that rely on Indonesian scientists to create the Red and White Fast Train (KCMP)." Obviously.

As additional information, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is part of a seriesBRIN Goes to Industriesin the Strategic Industrial Innovation Dialogue session which aims to accelerate downstream research towards the independence of national strategic industries.

Madiun State Polytechnic: Excellence in the Field of Sustainable Transportation

PNM Director Dr. Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M. explained that being part of the KCMP Joint Research and Development Consortium is in line with Madiun State Polytechnic's vision for the future, namely to become a superior, innovative, collaborative and globally competitive vocational college with excellence in the field of sustainable transportation.

"We believe that PNM is capable and capable of researching the most economical and sophisticated transportation in Indonesia," he explained.

Dr. Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M. continued, sustainable transportation can have a broad meaning, starting from modes, systems, companies, business models, and the environment.

"So transportation does not only discuss making trains, making cars, making machines, but the field of transportation starts from planning, business, finance, taxes, and making the modes themselves." explained the Director of PNM.

Next, Dr. Muhammad Taali added that every part that supports sustainable transportation is an unbreakable whole. For this reason, every study program at Madiun State Polytechnic is designed to make students experts in each field that supports sustainable transportation.
