Collaborating with Practitioners from the Industrial World - PNM Software Engineering Technology Study Program Signs MoU and Holds Guest Lecture entitled From Software Engineer to Technopreneur

PNM – Applied Undergraduate Program in Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) held a guest lecture entitled“From Software Engineer To Technopreneur”on Tuesday (08/11/2023). Taking place in the Budi Tjahjono Building Auditorium, PNM Campus 1, the guest lecture was attended by 146 first semester students from the TRPL Study Program and Information Technology (IT) Study Program.

Not without reason, the selection of first semester students as guest lecture participants was carried out so that new students would not worry about the major they had chosen. This was conveyed by the TRPL Study Program Coordinator, Nisa'ul Hafidhoh, S.Kom., S.T., M.T. “So that (first semester students) get an overview of the industrial world in the fieldsoftware engineering, so that new students don't worry about the wrong major." he explained.

Acting as a resource person at the guest lecture was Rian Andrian as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT. Aniqma Digital Creation. Not only guest lectures, this activity was also filled with the signing of an MoU between PNM and PT. Aniqma Digital Creation.

For your information, apart from being involved in the industrial world, Rian, who is also a lecturer, is also part of a team in government. Among them are:Digital Transformation Teamat the Director General of Politics and General Government at the Ministry of Home Affairs as well as the Analyst Division Coordinator at the West Java Digital Service.

The selection of speakers is in line with the aim of the guest lecture, namely to provide new insights for students. Moreover, the themes chosen and the resource persons presented also have backgrounds and experiences that suit the needs of TRPL and IT study program students. "The aim is to provide students with new insight, knowledge and experience from industry practitioners," said Nisa.

Furthermore, Nisa explained that new students tend to still be confused about what they will study and also their future career prospects. For this reason, it is hoped that this guest lecture can provide an overview of this matter. "This guest lecture provides an overview of the various types of work that can be done and what skills are needed." Nisa explained.
