Strengthen Commitment-PNM Signs Cooperation Agreement for Teaching Practitioner Program Class 3 of 2023

PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the Teaching Practitioner Program (PM) Class 3 of 2023 on Thursday (19/10). Together with 19 other universities, PNM, represented by Deputy Director 1, Dr. Yosi Afandi, S.Sos., M.AB., attended the PKS signing ceremony which was held in Building A, Floor 3, Kemendikbudristek Office, Senayan, Jakarta.

PM Batch 3 of 2023 has produced 6,924 collaboration classes, 4,776 courses involving 3,938 teaching lecturers, and 5,351 professional practitioners in 227 Implementing Universities (PTP), one of which is PNM. The signing of the PKS and PTP itself was carried out to strengthen commitment in implementing the PM program. Apart from that, it is also to provide the latest exposure to program implementation for all PTP PM Program Batch 3 of 2023.

The signing of the PKS is also inseparable from the increasingly complex dynamics of demand from the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) for quality Human Resources (HR). Quoting the vokasi.kemdikbud.go.id page, the Director General (Dirjen) of Vocational Education, Kiki Yuliati said that a spirit of mutual cooperation and active collaboration is needed from all elements of society to build an education system. This collaboration was then implemented in the PM Program which invited practitioners from various fields of expertise. Together with lecturers, practitioners work together to present innovative learning that is relevant to current developments.

Still from the same source, the Acting Director of Institutions and Resources for Vocational Higher Education, Muhammad Fajar Subkhan, also said that the relevance of learning at the Merdeka Campus, especially the Teaching Practitioner Program, to the industrial world can be seen in the development of a more dynamic curriculum. Furthermore, through the Teaching Practitioner Program, the Ministry of Education and Culture is trying to integrate curriculum updates more quickly and keep educational programs relevant to the latest developments in the industrial world.

Apart from signing the PKS, the event also presented an interactive discussion by inviting representatives from lecturers, practitioners and students.
