This program highlights the importance of innovation in increasing the added value of fresh milk products at the Omah Susu Lawu Producer Cooperative, Singolangu Village, Sarangan, Magetan. With a production capacity of 1,500 liters of milk per day, the cooperative still relies on conventional processing systems which have an impact on low product selling prices and members' welfare.

The research team from PNM, headed by Agus Choirul Arifin, S.Si., M.T., brings an automation-based solution by utilizing technology.Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)AndHuman Machine Interface (HMI). This innovation includes three integrated tools, namely a milk grade classifier, an automatic milk processing tool into yogurt, and a milk processing tool into beauty soap.

"Through this technology, the best quality milk (grade A) will be processed into high quality yogurt, while grade B milk will be used to make soap. All processes will be controlled automatically to ensure efficiency and product quality," explained Agus at the program launch event.

This program also involvesSMKN 3 Madiunas a partner regarding chemical content andPt garda techniquefor the realization of the tool. Apart from technology transfer, this activity encourages the formation of a new ecosystem that connects vocational education, industry and community. Not only that, this program will also include training in using tools, preparing a business model canvas, and registering intellectual property rights.

Madiun State Polytechnic seeks to increase the impact of universities on the environment, "This initiative is part of PNM's commitment to encouraging technological transformation based on the real needs of society and the business world. We hope this program can be replicated in other livestock communities in Indonesia." Agus said.
