Madiun State Polytechnic Inaugurates 1,305 New Students at the Closing of PKKMB for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) officially confirmed 1,305 new students on Friday (23/08/2024). Representing the Director of PNM, Deputy Director I of PNM for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, Dr. Yosi Afandi, S.Sos, M.A.B directly confirmed more than a thousand new Madiun State Polytechnic students.

Taking place at PNM Campus 2 Field, there was something different about the Closing and Inauguration activities for PNM New Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Last year this activity was held in the form of an Open PNM Senate Meeting, attended by new student representatives, and located at Campus 1. This year it was held through a ceremony at Campus 2 and attended by all new PNM students. Through this ceremony, all new PNM students were able to experience the inauguration moment directly and solemnly.

Before the inauguration, Dr. Yosi Afandi, S.Sos, M.A.B. read the Director's Decree regarding the Inauguration of New Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year and also the Director's remarks. Through the decision letter and welcoming speech, it was stated that this year PNM has confirmed 1,305 new students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year spread across 15 study programs.

The inauguration of new students was carried out by Deputy Director I together with Senate Chair Alief Sutantohadi, S.S., M.Hum. through releasing the attributes of PKKMB participants and symbolically wearing PNM alma mater jackets. The release of the attributes was then followed by all PKKMB 2024 participants and continued with the reading of the Student Promise followed by all PKKMB participants. The inauguration of new students also indicates that the 2024 PKKMB activities have finished and were carried out smoothly.

The 2024 PKKMB PNM Series of Activities will last for 5 days

Deputy Director I PNM said that the 2024 PKKMB activities which lasted for five days, starting from opening on August 19 to closing on August 23 2024, had gone well. PKKMB itself aims to instill and develop new students' concern for fellow humans, the nation and the environment. For this reason, new students also receive important material related to the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS), awareness of defending the country, nation, state and love of the homeland.

Furthermore, Deputy Director I PNM said that new students had received various materials related to campus introductions, starting from the Madiun State Polytechnic profile, introduction to academic fields, general fields, student affairs, academic administration services as well as departments and study programs. New students also receive various coaching from BRIMOB Madiun.

PKKMB 2024 carries the theme "ARSA ADHYAKSA", which means creating students who are full of authority and self-confidence, thereby creating individuals who have a high fighting spirit and are virtuous. Through the speech read by Deputy Director I, the Director of PNM has great confidence that new PNM students have great potential to produce work and achievements as has been demonstrated by previous PNM students. "One of our hopes is that you will be able to make a big contribution to Madiun State Polytechnic, one of which is through academic and non-academic work."

Furthermore, the Director of PNM advised new students to be able to complete their studies on time amidst busy academic and non-academic activities. Especially if it is accompanied by achievements and organizational experience that are beneficial for yourself and others.

As an additional note, after the Closing of the 2024 PKKMB and the Inauguration of New Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year there were additional activities on Saturday (24/08/2024). This activity is the conclusion of the entire series of PKKMB 2024 activities, namely the inauguration and introduction of student organizations (Ormawa) by the PNM Student Executive Board (BEM).

And the following is a list of 1,305 new Madiun State Polytechnic students spread across three departments and 15 study programs:

Department of Business Administration, with 4 study programs, namely:

• D3 Business Administration as many as 118 students;
• D3 English as many as 69 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Digital Marketing with 60 students;
• Bachelor of Applied English for Business and Professional Communication with 22 students;

Accounting Department, with 3 study programs, namely:

• D3 Accounting as many as 120 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Tax Accounting with 119 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Public Sector Accounting as many as 59 students.

Engineering Department, with 8 study programs, namely:

• D3 Electrical Engineering as many as 120 students;
• D3 Computer Control Engineering as many as 117 students;
• D3 Information Technology with 119 students;
• 119 students in Applied Railways;
• Bachelor of Applied Automotive Engineering Technology with 120 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Software Engineering Technology with 60 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Electronics Engineering Technology with 56 students;
• Bachelor of Applied Technology in Automation Engineering with 27 students.
