
The Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (PPMPP) Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) heldWorkshopInternal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and Internal Quality Audit Debriefing (AMI) on Tuesday (18/07). The activity, which took place in the Budi Tjahjono Building Auditorium, PNM Campus 1, was attended by the department head, department secretary, study program coordinator, and study program quality control group.
Workshopwith the theme "Preparing a Quality Document Data Baseline" was filled by two resource persons from universities in Yogyakarta. Both of them, namely Prof. Fathul Wahid, Ph.D. asQuality Assurance Expertand also the Chancellor of UII Yogyakarta, and Akhmad Dahlan, M.Kom. asTrainerSPMI Kemendikbudristek from Amikom University Yogyakarta.

Opening the session, Prof. Fathul hopes that his experience regarding what he does at UII Yogyakarta can add to the participants' perspective when running a university, in this case PNM. Meanwhile Deputy Director 2 PNM Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M. also hopes that the SPMI can actually be implemented and not just on paper. He also said that the training participants could strengthen each other and learn more about SPMI and SPME (External Quality Assurance System).
SPMI itself is determined, implemented, evaluated, controlled and improved by PNM on an ongoing and continuous basis based on the concept of PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation (implementation), Control and Improvement) continuously. One way to see implementation and continuation is through an Internal Quality Audit.

Chair of the PPMPP PNM Quality Assurance Working Group, Lala Hucadinota Ainul Amri, S.Pd., S.M., M.Si said thatworkshopThis is intended to provide an overview of the quality assurance process in higher education in accordance with the mandate of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards.
Lala hopes that in the future a quality culture can be formed at PNM. "The hope is for the formation of an overall quality culture (ed: within the PNM environment)." he said.
He further said that the culture of quality is what will determine the size and quality of PNM in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards. So that all work units, be they study programs, departments, sections, even sub-sections or academic support units, must participate in ensuring that quality assurance continues. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
