The Information Technology Study Program (IT Prodi) Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) held a guest lecture entitled "Career Hack For Entering Industry" on Tuesday (13/06). The activity, which took place in the Budi Tjahjono Building Auditorium, PNM Campus 1, collaborated with Seven Inc as a resource person.
The guest lecture, which was attended by around one hundred IT study program students, was attended by three presenters from Seven Inc. The three are Rekario Danny Sanjaya (Founder), Mahardiky Budiansyah (HRD staff internjogja.com), and Sophia Bruckner (HRD internjogja.com).
In this guest lecture, the three speakers presented material on how to act or behave, ethics when entering the world of work, as well as tips for making things the course of life (CV) is good and interesting, and explains internjogja.com which is a unit of Seven Inc.

Danny said that internjogja.com not only teaches work skills related to the division registered by the intern, but is also aware of the importance of mental health, character formation, and various points related to how to enter the world of work, such as CV hack, interview hack, career hack. "So, we don't just teach about mentality, about the world of work, but his character is also (ed: strong)," he said.
Danny hopes that the interns will know more about the world of work so that they won't just choose a career. He hopes that the apprentices are ready to work. "So our hope is that we, Indonesia, have human resources who are ready to work, not needing work. I'm sure Indonesia will progress. So it won't be a problem for the company, the company will grow." Obviously.
Not only guest lectures, another agenda for that day was the signing of an MoU between PNM and Seven Inc. PNM was represented by Deputy Director III Fredy Susanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., while Seven Inc was signed by the Founder, Rekario Danny Sanjaya.
IT Study Program Coordinator Lutfiyah Dwi Setia, S.Kom., M.Kom said that the guest lecture, which is an academic activity for the study program every year, also follows up on Field Work Practices (PKL) and internships that have been carried out by five PNM students at internjogja.com. Therefore, the campus followed up with a cooperation agreement (PKS) with Seven Inc.

Lutfiah explained that next academic year all PKL, internship or MBKM processes are required to have official administration, either in the form of Momorandum of Understanding (MoU) and cooperation agreement (PKS). The campus will also evaluate several PKL agencies that do not yet have an MoU but are qualified to sign a cooperation agreement with PNM. "So in the future, interns or street vendors will already be in places where we have an MoU." Lutfiah said.
Furthermore, Lutfiah explained that the MoU between PNM and Seven Inc was related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. However, when the cooperation agreement reaches the study program, it can be in the form of PKL cooperation, internships, or research collaboration with lecturers or MSIB (Certified Independent Study and Internship) and others.
Lutfiah hopes that in the future IT Study Program students will be more involved in industry. Moreover, before graduating, many IT Study Program students have already becomefreelancerin varioussoftware house. So if the student is bound by a contract with the company, then there is already a guarantee.
"The greater hope is of course that this will be the forerunner that the IT Study Program will continue to collaborate with industry. If we collaborate with industry, of course it won't just be with one or two agencies or one or two companies, there will definitely be more. Moreover, now there is TRPL (ed: Software Engineering Technology, a new study program at PNM). If TRPL, wow, is getting more complex, our industry partners will also have to be more numerous." Close Lutfiah. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
