PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) took part in the RailwayTech Indonesia exhibition which took place at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran on 23-25 August 2023. RailwayTech Indonesia is an exhibition of railway transportation solutions between private investors (Bussines to Bussines) and private sector with the government on a global scale, organized by the Indonesian Railway Society (MASKA) and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.
This exhibition, organized by Global Expo Management (GEM), is a gathering event forstakeholderthe prestigious railway major in ASEAN to establish business relationships with railway vendors and the government as well as open opportunities to involve railway projects in Indonesia and the surrounding region.
Alfi Tranggono Agus Salim,. S.Si., M.T., as a lecturer in the Railway Study Program and PNM field coordinator for the exhibition, said that there were several agencies and companies present, including those from industry and academia.
"In terms of industry from Indonesia, there is the large INKA, from China there is CRRC, then several other industries that provide train components, train track installations, train electricity. Sooverallthe industry operates in the fieldrailway, railway.” Alfi explained.

Alfi conveyed that the concept of RailwayTech Indonesia, which is an international exhibition, means that visitors who come, especially to the PNM booth, are diverse, both domestic and international visitors, for example from China and Japan. In fact, on the first day there were almost 70 visitors to the PNM booth, including around 7-8 international visitors.

Not just attracted to the carHybridPNM, several domestic visitors who came from students were also interested in the PNM Railway Study Program. One of them was from the Land Transportation College (STTD) who asked about the level transfer program in the PNM Railway Study Program.
"Yesterday someone asked at PNM or at the Railway Study Program whether they were opening a level transfer program. The average of those from STTD are D3, not yet D4. If there is one, they would like to join PNM to change level to D4. At PNM there isn't yet (ed: level transfer program) yes, that's why I said there isn't one at PNM." Alfi explained.
