Collaborating with Alumni, GenBI Madiun State Polytechnic Holds Skill Upgrading for Students

This activity was attended by 35 students from the fifth and seventh semesters who are members of GenBI PNM.

Febrian Walid Awalludin as chairman of the committee said that the activitiesupgrading skill This aims to improve participants' abilities in creating a professional CV and optimizing their LinkedIn profile as a toolpersonal brandingto support readiness to enter the world of work.

The resource person presented was Bagus Priambodo, S.Tr.T., an alumnus of the Madiun State Polytechnic Automotive Engineering Technology Study Program, graduating in 2024. Bagus currently works as an Ore Hauling Plant Supervisor in the bauxite mining industry of PT Harmoni Panca Utama, West Kalimantan Region.

Febrian explained that by selecting speakers from the same alma mater—Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM)—it was hoped that the participants could be further motivated and inspired.

"Resources who are also PNM alumni can also be an inspiration by providing a real picture of career preparation, including creating a CV and managing LinkedIn." Febrian explained.

Furthermore, the chairman of the committee and Automotive Engineering Technology student hopes that students can gain insight into the industrial world, motivation and readiness to face the world of work, as well as strengtheninglink and matchbetween campus and the industrial world. he said.
