Madiun - Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Taekwondo athlete became one of the representatives of East Java Province at the XVII National Student Sports Week 2022 (POMNAS 2022) in Padang, West Sumatra. The athlete is Danisa Faradila Sandy Widyawati, a student of the Accounting Study Program who also won a gold medal in the Taekwondo sport at the 2022 East Java POMPROV event last March.
POMNAS 2022 is a routine activity every two years carried out by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education/Indonesian Talent Development Center through the Indonesian Student Sports Advisory Board (BAPOMI).
There are 14 sports branches consisting of games, martial arts and concentration that will be competed in POMNAS 2022. The fourteen sports branches include Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Futsal, Karate, Rock Climbing, Pencak Silat, Petanque, Swimming, Sepak Takraw, Taekwondo, Tarung Drajat and Tennis.
POMNAS 2022 itself will be held on 17 - 26 November 2022 with different match times for each sport. For the Taekwondo competition, November 18 - 21 2022, which will take place at the ATI Padang Polytechnic Hall.
Meanwhile, PNM Taekwondo Athlete Danisa Faradila Sandy Widyawati will compete on Sunday (20/11) in the Taekwondo sport in the Kyorugi Senior Women Over 73 kg class. Good luck Danisa! Keep up the enthusiasm and hopefully get the best results at POMNAS 2022. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
