
Madiun – Bebras Challenge (Bebras Challenge) 2022 was completed, on 7-12 November 2022 to be precise. This year, as many as 1,356 participants belonging to four categories took part in the Bebras Challenge organized by the Bebras Bureau of the Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM).
The four Bebras Challenge categories are Little One (SD/MI class 1-3), Siaga (SD/MI class 4-6), Penggalang (SMP/MTs), and Enforcer (SMA/SMK/MA). The number of participants in the 2022 Bebras Challenge by the Bebras PNM Bureau is 185 Si Kecil participants, 1,020 Siaga participants, 43 Penggalang participants, and 108 Enforcers.
Bebras Bureau PNM itself is one of 90 Bebras Bureaus in Indonesia. 2022 will be the fourth time that Bebras Bureau PNM has held the Bebras Challenge.
The Bebras Challenge aims to enable students to learn Computational Thinking during and after the competition. Bebras Challenge is part of the activities of Bebras Indonesia, which is an international initiative that aims to promote Computational Thinking (Thinking based on Computing or Informatics) among teachers and students starting at elementary school level, as well as for the wider community.
Previously, last October the Bebras PNM Bureau conducted online outreach to teachers from various schools. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Bebras Challenge for students by the PNM Bebras Bureau is carried out in their respective schools and also in the PNM IT Laboratory for the Enforcer category from several schools close to PNM.
The Bebras Challenge itself is held once a year according to the Bebras Week schedule throughout the world by members of the Bebras International community in their respective countries. In Indonesia, this year's Bebras Week will be held simultaneously on 7-12 November 2022.
