Competing in the International Robotics Event, PNM Computer Control Engineering Study Program Team Wins 3 IMRO 2023 Champions

PNM – Three teams from the Computer Control Engineering Study Program (TKK) Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) managed to bring home three medals in the 2023 International Modern Robotic Olympiad (IMRO). The three were the AI-SBI Team which won 3rd Place in the IoT Category, the ROMATRO Team won 2nd Place in the Robot Transporter Category, and the MATERO Team won 3rd Place in the Robot Transporter Category.

This year's IMRO will be held by STKIP Modern and the Ngawi Regency Government on 14-16 October 2023. With the theme "Modern Living with Modern Thinking", IMRO 2023 hasClose CategoryAndOpen Category. Close Categoryfollowed by elementary, middle and high school levels. CurrentlyOpen Categoryattended by students or the general public.

OnOpen Categoryconsists of several competition categories, namelyRobot Transporter, Line Followers Microcontroller, Sumo Remote Control 1 Kg, Sumo Remote Control 3 Kg, Sumo Remote Autonomous 1 Kg, Sumo Remote Autonomous 3 Kg,AndInternet of Things (IoT). Three teams from the TKK Study Program themselves competed in two categories, namelyTransporterand IoT.

The IoT category aims to provide a platform for the best innovation from students/public throughout Indonesia in developing Internet of Things-based technology in the country. Apart from that, it is also to introduce IoT concepts and products to the wider community so that they can provide sustainable benefits in the future. Medium categoryRobot Transporter (Wireless/Non-Cable/IoT/Stik-PS/Remote RC/Bluetooth)is a robot designed to transport goods from one zone to another using remote controlwireless).
