
Madiun – Monday (18/7), Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) succeeded in winning a total of four bronze medals in the Pencak Silat and Taekwondo sports. The PNM contingent achieved this achievement on the sixth day of the Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) XIII Banjarmasin Polytechnic 2022 after previously winning 2nd place in the Poetry Reading Arts Branch. The four bronze medals came from two Pencak Silat Competition Numbers and two Taekwondo Competition Numbers.
The Pencak Silat competition was held on Sunday (17/7) and the medal presentation took place today, Monday (18/7). The two competition numbers that the PNM contingent participated in were Women's Pencak Silat Class C (>55 - 60Kg) by Vibrya Kiky Putri Purnama (Railway Engineering) and Men's Pencak Silat Class B (>50 - 55Kg) by Arfian Renaldi (Railway Engineering).
Meanwhile, the competition and medal presentation for Taekwondo will be held today, Monday (18/7). The two competition numbers that the PNM contingent participated in were Women's Individual Taekwondo Pomsae by Alfina Nur Handayani (Railway Engineering) and Women's Team Taekwondo Pomsae by Danisa Faradila Sandy Widyawati (Accounting), Emanila Sukmarini (Tax Accounting), and Feby Khoirunnisa (Railway Engineering).
Porseni Polytechnic is an event every two years and is the culmination point of sports and arts activities in order to improve and develop the sports and arts achievements of Polytechnic students throughout Indonesia.
