PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Railway Study Program student, Eko Hermawan won the Best Nomination category award, namely Best In Fashion Putera Batik East Java, through the Putera Puteri Batik East Java 2024 event. Located at the Cak Durasim Arts Building, Surabaya, this activity took place on Sunday (4/8/2024).
Putera Puteri Batik East Java is a forum for the younger generation to expand their reach to touch all levels of society as pioneersYouth Batik Activist. According to Eko, the activity organized by the East Java Putera Puteri Batik Association aims to upliftfashionRegional batik is a contemporary creation that still has East Javanese cultural values.
Participants in Putera Puteri Batik East Java also came from representatives of cities, districts and students in East Java. Eko explained that the participants also displayed batik from their respective cities which could be a promotional medium to introduce regional batik.
Eko himself presented a warrior batik fashion show from Madiun City. He also wants to introduce not only batik from Madiun but also Madiun State Polytechnic at this event.
"The reason I took part in the competition was because I wanted to introduce batik from Madiun and also bring the name of the Madiun State Polytechnic campus to the East Java batik event." Obviously.
