Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) students succeeded in winning the championship title at the East Java (Jatim) Taekwondo Provincial Championship (Kejurprov) in 2022. It was Kholifatull Rosida, a student from the PNM Information Technology Study Program who succeeded in winning 1st place in the Women's Senior Pomsae number, Saturday (10/12).
The 2022 East Java Taekwondo Provincial Championship will be held on 8-11 December 2022 and will take place at the Indoor Gym of Infantry Division 2/Kostrat Malang Regency. This year the East Java Taekwondo Provincial Championship was attended by 1,810 athletes and competed in a number of events. These include Kyorugi Achievement, Poomsae Achievement, Kyorugi Festival and Poomsae Festival.
As additional information, as reported by rri.co.id, the Kejurprov Taekwondo which was opened directly by the Deputy Regent of Malang also helped celebrate the 1,262nd anniversary of Malang Regency. Apart from that, the championship, which was initiated together with the Greater Malang Association of Indonesian Journalists (PWI), was also held to commemorate National Sports Day (HAORNAS) 2022.
