PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Business Administration Study Program (Prodi) students made achievements at the 2024 Business Administration Olympic (BAO), Saturday (08/06/2024). Taking place at the Malang State Polytechnic (Polinema), one of the PNM delegates, Rhekian Wilis Yudha Aryanthi, succeeded in bringing home the title of 2nd place winner in the Master of Ceremony (MC) branch.
BAO is part of a series of 2024 Business Festival (B-Fest) activities organized by the Polinema Business Administration Student Association on a national scale. BAO 2024 will feature three competition branches, including:Secretarial Skills, Business Plan, AndMaster of Ceremony.Rhekian himself took part in the MC competition and was guided by a lecturer from the PNM Business Administration Study Program, namely Triana Prihatinta, S.Sos., M.M. and Niza Nurmalasari, S.S., M.M.
Niza said that for the MC branch, participants were asked to present two themes, formal and informal. Where at the beginning of the preliminaries participants were asked to present a formal theme by sending a video first. In this round, Rhekian managed to get the highest score.
"Thank God, in the initial preliminary round, Rhekian Wilis Yudha Aryanthi got the highest score out of 18 participants. Furthermore, in the final round of the competition, Rhekian brought an informal theme and won 2nd place." Niza explained.
According to Niza, the students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm when practicing was very inspiring. These include when preparing for a competition, sending videos by adhering to strict rules such as costumes, text material and assessment indicators according to the committee's guidelines. "On the D-day, the students gave their best in the competition, and their enthusiasm made us very proud." he said.
2024 will not be the first time for Rhekian and the PNM delegation to take part in BAO. Last year Rhekian also competed but did not bring home the title. Rhekian said that the technical aspects of the competition were much different from previous years. However, with better preparation than last year, Rhekian managed to win 2nd place.
"From the technical side of the competition, it is very different from last year. Last year it was allowed to prepare the MC text in advance, but this year it has to be handwritten on the spot and is not allowed to be seen."cellphone.” Rhekian explained.
Rhekian also expressed his gratitude to the lecturers who had facilitated and provided much better guidance than last year.
