PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic Tax Center (PNM) has made another achievement. This time the PNM Tax Center team succeeded in winning four champions at the Funtaxtic 2024 event. Activities in the context of Tax Day were held at the Regional Office of DJP 2 East Java, Monday (15/07/2024).

The PNM Tax Center Team is coached by three lecturers from the Accounting Department, namely Hedi Pandowo, S.Kom., M.Kom., Amri Amrullah, S.E., M.Ak. and Koerniawan Dwi Wibawa, S.ST., M.S.A. excelled in all Funtaxtic 2024 competition branches. The four winners included 1st Place in the Video Reels Competition, 1st Place in the Poster Design Competition, 1st Place in the Tax Speech Competition, and 2nd Place in the Tax Jingle Competition.

The following is a list of winners and the names of the PNM Tax Center Team members: 1st Place in the Video Reels Competition by Dwi Tia Agustin (Accounting), 1st Place in the Poster Design Competition by Sifa Rani (Accounting), 1st Place in the Tax Speech Competition by Husnul Nur Annisa (Tax Accounting), and 2nd Place in the Tax Jingle Competition by Sifa Rani (Accounting), Dio Maulana Chandra (Public Sector Accounting), Yurisa Nanda Cristiani (Accounting), Mickia Lukchrisdinata Pradana (Tax Accounting), and Gustamilian Tyas Adhiwijaya (Automotive Engineering Technology).

When asked about one of the PNM Tax Center team members in the Tax Jingle competition coming from the Engineering Department, Amri, as one of the supervisory lecturers, explained that competition participants could come from any study program. "In fact, taxes are for everyone, as well as tax volunteers at the Tax Center, they can come from any study program." Amri said explaining.

This year is not the first time PNM has excelled at the Funtaxtic event. Amri explained that in 2022 and 2023, PNM would also bring home the champion title in the Tax Intelligence branch. However, this year this branch was abolished and replaced with four other competitions: Video Reels Competition, Poster Design Competition, Tax Speech Competition, and Tax Jingle Competition.

"Last year PNM won the Tax Quiz competition, but this year the competition was abolished and there were 4 different competitions available and all of them won." Call Amri.

Amri further stated that the team had prepared itself for the Tax Quiz competition but the competition was cancelled. "At first we were pessimistic, considering the very short preparation time, but it turned out that our tax volunteers really had extraordinary talent and creativity. As supervisors, we were surprised by the talent that the tax volunteers had." he said.

According to Amri, the PNM Tax Center Team was overwhelmed in preparing for the competition. However, the Madiun Pratama Tax Service Office always provides support so that it helps the PNM Tax Center Team to produce good work. "We were allowed to use equipment and space belonging to the tax service office to take pictures for the Video Reels and Story Telling (Tax Telling) competitions." Obviously.

An interesting story also happened during the Tax Speech competition. PNM Tax Center Team Representative Husnul Nur Annisa succeeded in getting everyone carried away and crying when they heard the story he told. "Husnul told how a high school student from an underprivileged family managed to go to college using KIP College at PNM. KIP College funds came from tax payments." Amri explained.

Not only that, the PNM Tax Center Team also received appreciation from the Chair of the East Java 2 DJP Regional Office and the Head of KPP Pratama Madiun. "He said that there would be many activities that would be carried out together with PNM student tax volunteers in the context of tax socialization." Amri explained.

Amri hopes that this appreciation will be the start of closer cooperation with the Directorate General of Taxes so that it can support tridharma activities at PNM. Apart from that, Amri also hopes that next year he can dominate the 2025 Tax Day competition again. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
