
PNM – A total of 1,414 new Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) students officially took part in the Opening Ceremony for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, Tuesday (19/08/2025). Taking place in the PNM Campus 2 field, the opening ceremony was led directly by the PNM Director Dr. Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M.
In his speech, the PNM Director welcomed the 1,414 new PNM students in 2025. Thousands of new PNM students spread across 15 study programs were selected through four selection routes, namely SNBP, SNBT, Mandiri Consortium and Mandiri Batch 2.
"You are the chosen and best person from around 9,103 applicants through 4 (four) New Student Admission Selection routes at the Madiun State Polytechnic," said Muhammad Taali.
Different from previous years, among the thousands of new PNM students this year there are two students who received the Higher Education Affirmation Scholarship (ADiK Scholarship) who came from the Meranti Islands, Riau and Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua.
Furthermore, the Director of PNM said that PKKMB is not just a ceremony but an important vehicle in the transition process to university life. Through PKKMB, new students will be introduced to various materials related to PNM.
"Through PKKMB, you will be introduced to the Tridharma values of higher education, campus organizational structure, academic and student life, as well as the tough attitude needed in the era of digital transformation and society 5.0." The PNM Director explained in his speech.

Muhammad Taali further explained that PKKMB would be the starting point in building competitive student character, upholding academic ethics, and making the campus a safe and violence-free space.
"I emphasize that there is no tolerance for all forms of violence, bullying or unethical actions in PKKMB activities or other campus activities." Muhammad Taali emphasized.
In closing, the PNM Director invited all academics, committee members and new students to carry out PKKMB activities in a spirit of collaboration, respect and shared responsibility.
"Make this momentum a starting point to grow, develop and become part of national change through an active role within the Madiun State Polytechnic." Explained Muhammad Taali.
PKKMB PNM is scheduled to take place from 19-29 August 2025 with details of institutional material on 19-20 August 2025, department material on 21-22 August 2025, and study program material on 23-29 August 2025.
