Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) received another visit from the train lover community. This time from the Semboyan Satoe Community, which is a train lover community based in Yogyakarta and Solo on Thursday (11/05). Taking place at the PNM Railway Laboratory Building, the visit was attended by around 50 members of the Semboyan Satoe Community.

The motto of the Satoe Community is a community of train lovers that has been around for more than a decade, to be precise since September 9 2009. This community is also officially registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as a Non-Governmental Organization.

"Satoe's motto started in 2009. On the ninth of the ninth month of 2009 and we were registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. So it's official, we already have a legal basis." Said Indrayana, Public Relations Officer for Satoe Community's motto.

Indrayana said that there is no age limit to become a member of Semboan Satoe. The youngest member is still in 6th grade. However, specifically for visiting activities, he said that the Satoe motto requires a minimum age of 3rd grade of junior high school. He considers that children at that age are enough to look after themselves.

Not only do they come from Indonesia, some of the community members trusted by PT KAI DAOP 6 to maintain the Maguwo Lama Station are even from abroad. Like Kelvin who comes from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kelvin, who is also a train lover, said he deliberately came to Indonesia to take part in Satoe's motto visit to PT INKA and PNM. The former employee of KTM, which is the largest railway company in Malaysia, admitted that he likes and is interested in railways in Indonesia.

Apart from the diversity of ages and origins of its members, the Satoe Community motto also has diverse work backgrounds. Among them are students, students, entrepreneurs, civil servants, KAI employees, even YouTubers. There were also members of Pramekers, Prameks (ed: now KRL) Solo-Yogyakarta commuters who also took part in the educational visit and friendship activities.

"There are various (ed: backgrounds), various (ed: jobs). There are entrepreneurs, there are also civil servants, this is also from the BPN Ponorogo land sector. There are some who are on leave. There are also YouTubers who have lots of reviews, Mas Tito, Andriawan Pratikto," explained Indra.

After welcoming remarks and a glance at PNM, the participants also had the opportunity to try out the PNM hybrid train. Train lovers who were divided into two groups seemed enthusiastic about tasting the PNM hybrid train.

"It feels clearly different, very different (ed: from commercial trains), it's more smooth. Maybe because it's only around here. So it feels like it doesn't last long. But it's fun, especially when you get to the corner, you really feel the bend, it's really nice, smooth. So domestic products are not inferior either. INKA products are no less." Indra explained.

Deputy Director 3 PNM Fredy Susanto, S.Pd, M.Pd. said that welcoming visits from these communities also wanted to introduce PNM to various circles and wider circles.

"To introduce PNM. Yesterday (ed: visit from the train lover community) from Madiun, at least (ed: introduced PNM) within Madiun. Now (ed: visit from train lover community) from Solo-Jogja and many YouTubers (ed: who came) so we can introduce PNM at the same time, we can publicize PNM widely," concluded Fredy. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
