
Madiun – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) collaborated with the East Java II Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes to inaugurate the Tax Center and hold a guest lecture on Tuesday (13/9). The activity, which took place in the Computer Accounting Department Building, Campus 2, PNM, was also accompanied by the symbolic handover of the PKS (Cooperation Agreement) document between PNM and the Regional Office of DJP East Java II. The submission of PKS documents was represented by Deputy Director I for PNM and Head of P2Humas Division for Regional Office of DJP East Java II.
According to Deputy Director 1 of PNM, Yosi Afandi, S.Sos., M.A.B, the existence of the Tax Center is very strategic not only for the Computer Accounting department but also for other departments. Yosi Afandi added that the Tax Center must be useful for stakeholders if they need help related to taxes. Among other things, it can facilitate and accommodate information related to taxes and various regulations. PNM Deputy Director I also hopes that the Tax Center will have added value for alumni that will be produced by PNM and will not be limited to activities on campus, but will also be of benefit to the surrounding community.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Regional Office of DJP East Java II, Takari Yoedaniawati, said that the current state of the APBN is not good so we all need support, especially from the tax revenue sector. In order to build the future of taxation in Indonesia, it is necessary to prepare large promotions so that people have better tax awareness.
One way, Takari Yoedaniawati added that the East Java II DJP Regional Office had synergized with PNM which was realized in PKS establishing a Tax Center through PNM. All the nation's children can move together and work together to achieve the recovery of conditions in all sectors and be ready to rise to face global challenges.
Furthermore, Takari Yoedaniawati said that the aim of establishing the Tax Center was to encourage and organize activities, service, research, and training and socialization about taxation in the Higher Education environment and create harmony between Higher Education and the Directorate General of Taxes. The hope is that this synergy will run well and produce positive performance. The Tax Center can also collaborate with the Regional Office of DJP Jatim II and KPP Pratama Madiun as companions for implementing Tax Center activities. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
