PNM Holds Flag Ceremony to Commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia - Thousands of New Students Also Join

PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) held a flag ceremony in celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) at Campus 2 PNM on Thursday (17/08/2023). This activity was attended by the PNM academic community, starting from leaders, lecturers, education staff and students.

This ceremony was a special moment for 1,108 new PNM students. The reason is, the August 17 ceremony took place at the same time as the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. At the same time, it is also a real implementation of the material related to the sense of nationalism and love of the Motherland that was obtained during the PKKMB.

New students participating in the ceremony attended the ceremony solemnly.

Acting as the supervisor of the RI's 78th Anniversary Ceremony was Deputy Director I PNM Yosi Afandi, S.Sos., M.AB. In the Minister of Education and Culture's remarks read by Deputy Director 1 PNM summarized several important points. One of them is the emphasis on eliminating violence in the educational environment through the Minister of Education and Culture's Regulation on the Prevention and Handling of Violence in educational units. The hope is that all school residents will increasingly be guaranteed their rights to study, create and work safely and comfortably.

Furthermore, mutual cooperation from all parties is needed to realize these good conditions. The role of ministries, regional governments, education unit residents, and families is also the key to eliminating violence in the educational environment.

The August 17 ceremony this time also took place solemnly and smoothly. Students also took part as ceremonial officers. Among them, students from the PNM Student Activity Unit (UKM) Student Regiment (Menwa) acted as ceremonial officers.

Not only UKM Menwa, students from UKM PNM Choir, Blue Shine Choir also participated.
