
Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) started 2023 by conducting an academic visit to Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and the State Crafts Institute (IKN) Malaysia on Wednesday-Friday, 11-13 January 2023. This academic visit is one of the real implementations of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. The PNM team visit was led by the Director and accompanied by Deputy Director 1, Deputy Director 2, Head of KUI, and PNM staff.
On the first day's visit at UiTM, the PNM team was directed to the central campus in Shah Alam. The PNM team was received by PNC (Rector) UiTM Prof. Dr. Shahanum and Dean CoCA Prof. Dr. Ts. Dr. Russian The second day, the PNM team did a campus tour to the College of Creative Arts Studies (KPSK), an institute within UiTM which is a fusion of three faculties. There, the PNM team had the opportunity to visit the Study Program under KPSK and discuss with each Head of Department.
After that, the PNM team also visited the State Crafts Institute (IKN) campus in Pahang State. There the team was received directly by the IKN PNC (Rector) which was followed by discussions between the two campuses.

Then the visit continued to UiTM Campus Puncak Alam Branch. There, PNM Director Muhamad Fajar Subkhan, S.T., M.T had the opportunity to be a speaker in the "International Talk Show" together with PNC (Rector) UiTM Puncak Alam Branch, Prof. Dr. Badrul Isa.
On the last day, the PNM team visited the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) UiTM and was received by the Deputy Dean of FBM Dr. Faradila. During the meeting, the PNM team discussed details regarding plans for Student Mobility, Staff Exchange, Joint Research programs, and others. PNM does not need to make another MoU / MoA because one MoU / MoA applies to all Colleges (Campuses) and Faculty (Faculties). The meeting also agreed on a mobility program that was planned as part of the initial implementation.
The three-day series of academic visits closed with the release of UiTM representative Dr. Noor Azly. At the event, PNM Director Muhamad Fajar Subkhan, S.T., M.T said that the first steps start from small things and start from the closest relatives, namely Malaysian cognates. Furthermore, Muhamad Fajar Subkhan, S.T., M.T added that UiTM has a good world ranking so it is hoped that it can bring more benefits to PNM. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
