
Madiun – Wednesday (24/8), in collaboration with BPS Madiun City, Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) inaugurated the Statistics Corner on Monday (22/8). The activity, which took place in the PNM Campus 2 Business Administration Building, aimed to bring statistical services closer to the community, especially the PNM academic community.
Apart from the inauguration of the Statistics Corner, another agenda for that day was the signing of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) by PNM Director Muhamad Fajar Subkhan, S.T., M.T. and Head of BPS East Java Province Dr. Dadang Hardiwan, S.Si, M.Si.. As well as the signing of the PKS (Cooperation Agreement) by Deputy Director 3 PNM Fredy Susanto, S.Pd, M.Pd and Head of BPS Madiun City Dwi Yuheny, S. Si, M.M.
According to the Director of PNM in his speech, this collaboration will be an important part of learning for PNM in data literacy, especially statistical data which can be utilized by students and lecturers. The Head of BPS for East Java Province also said that the Statistics Corner is a BPS service to create collaboration and synergy between BPS and universities so that student assignments and lecturer research related to statistical data can be carried out more easily. The statistics corner is expected to not only provide data but also carry out broader activities.
In line with this, Assistant I to the Madiun City Government, Dr. Agung Sulistya Wardani, M.MKes hopes that this collaboration can simplify and expedite the research activities of the PNM academic community, especially with regard to BPS data. The Head of BPS Madiun City also expressed the hope that this collaboration could strengthen the statistical system in Madiun City. Moreover, on that day not only was the Statistics Corner inaugurated but there was also an inaugural public lecture to PNM students from the Head of BPS Madiun City. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
