PNM's Software Engineering and Railway Technology Study Program Achieves Excellent Accreditation Rating

PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) continues to strive to improve the quality of education. One of them is proven by the increase in study program accreditation rankings. This time, two applied undergraduate study programs, namely Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) and Railways, have improved their accreditation rankings.

Previously, the two study programs had carried out field assessments. The TRPL Study Program field assessment was carried out on 14-16 July 2025 at PNM Campus 1. Meanwhile, the Railway Study Program will be held on 01-02 July 2025 at Campus 2 PNM.

PNM Director Dr.Muhammad Taali, S.E., M.M. expressed his appreciation regarding the increase in accreditation of the two study programs. "Congratulations on your achievements in the academic field and the entire team who helped each other in preparing the accreditation forms." Said the PNM Director.

The Deputy Director for Academic Affairs also expressed his gratitude for the dedication of the Director and the entire team. "And this (increasing accreditation) is our common goal." he said.

The TRPL Study Program received a Very Good Accreditation rating based on LAM INFOKOM Decree No. 046/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak.P/STr/VIII/2025 dated 11 August 2025. The accreditation certificate is valid from 11 August 2025 to 11 August 2030.

Meanwhile, the Railway Study Program received a Very Good Accreditation rating based on LAM Engineering Decree No. 0447/SK/LAM Teknik/VST/VIII/2025 dated 14 August 2025. The accreditation certificate is valid from 14 August 2025 to 20 August 2030.

For your information, the Software Engineering Technology Study Program (TRPL) is one of the relatively new study programs, which was founded in 2023. Previously, based on the decision letter of the Independent Informatics and Computer Accreditation Institute (LAM INFOKOM) dated January 24 2024, the TRPL Study Program received a Good Accreditation rating. The accreditation ranking is valid from January 24, 2025 to January 24, 2026.

Meanwhile, the Railway Study Program is one of the leading study programs at PNM which was founded in 2018. Previously, the Railway Study Program received a Good Accreditation rating based on BAN-PT Decree No. 9660/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/ST/VII/2021 dated 21 July 2021. Now both study programs have had their accreditation ratings upgraded to Very Good. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
