Madiun – Two students from the Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Business Administration Study Program (Prodi) succeeded in achieving brilliant results in the 2022 Business Administration Competition (BAC). They are Clarista Bunga Rahmadhani who won 1st place in the Master of Ceremony Competition and Wahyu Juni Santoso who won 2nd place in the Meeting Planning Competition.
In 2022, BAC will be attended by 22 contingents representing Vocational Schools or Polytechnics from all over Indonesia. Taking place at the Manado State Polytechnic (Polimdo), this series of BAC events were held on 11-14 October. Meanwhile, the announcement of the competition results was held last night.
The PNM contingent itself was represented by three Business Administration Study Program students who took part in three different types of competitions. Clarista Bunga Rahmadhani (Master of Ceremony Competition), Wahyu Juni Santoso (Meeting Planning Competition), and Muhammad Reynal Javar Prasetyo (Filling Competition) who last September won 3rd place in the Business Administration Olympic event at the Malang State Polytechnic. Even though they only sent three delegates, the PNM contingent was able to enter the top 10 regarding the total score achieved in the competition.
Not only the three competitions above, the 2022 BAC will also compete in a total of nine types of competitions. The other six competitions include the Typing Speed Competition, Secretarial Competition, Web Design Competition, Business Presentation Competition, Business Data Processing Competition, and Business Plan Competition.
BAC is a competition held by the Polytechnic to improve the quality of human resources. This year's theme is "Increasing the competency and competitiveness of graduates in the field of Business Administration in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0". The aim is to measure student competency, both hard skills and soft skills in the field of Business/Commerce Administration at Polytechnics and Vocational Schools throughout Indonesia. Apart from that, BAC also aims to establish and strengthen ties between students majoring in Business/Commerce Administration and Secretarial/Office. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
