Madiun – Monday (26/9), the Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Arshaka Team succeeded in winning 1st place in the National Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Competition SEVENT (Sriwijaya Electro National Event) in 2022. Members of the PNM Arshaka Team consisted of two Electrical Engineering Study Program students, namely Ade Reza F. S and Wahyu Laksana Putra.
The competition, which was held by the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, was held online on 18-19 September 2022. Meanwhile, the announcement of the total jury assessment for the entire final round was issued on Monday (20/9).
PLC itself is a system that can manipulate and monitor process conditions at a very fast rate, based on data that can be programmed. This time, the National PLC Competition is a competition for PLC programming that uses ladders. PLC receives input and produces electrical signal output to control a system.
Apart from the National PLC Competition, SEVENT 2022 also has two other competition categories. These include the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Competition and the E-Football Competition.
SEVENT 2022 is an activity organized by the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Electrical Department Student Association. With the theme "Ready to Restart Creativity for Pandemic Recovery and Explore Technology for Gen Z to Reach SDG's 2030", SEVENT 2022 consists of a national level competition in the field of electrical engineering. *(Public Relations Team/PIP PNM)
