PNM Automata Team Wins Favorite Champion at PIMNAS 2022

Madiun – The Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Automata Team won Favorite Champion at the 35th National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) 2022 which took place at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) on Saturday (3/12).

The PNM Automata Team won Favorite Champion in the PKM-Karsa Cipta class (PKM-KC1) with the title "Tool for Detecting and Mapping Potential Dangers of Driving on Asphalt Roads Using the Transfer Learning Method to Support Indonesia Zero Accident". The PNM Automata Team itself consists of four Computer Control Engineering (TKK) students, namely Ilham Dwi Yanto as chairman, Jiadah Khoirin, Abdullah Salim, and Yusuf Wijaya Kusuma Putra.

Not only the Automata Team, PNM also sent the Marty Team in the PKMKC-2 class which qualified as finalists in PIMNAS 2022 with the title "Detection of Personal Protective Equipment and Potential Hazards in the Work Environment Based on Artificial Intelligence Efforts to Support Occupational Safety and Health". Marty's team is chaired by Ayunda Eka Pratiwi (TKK) and consists of Hannan Adib Ryandika (TKK), Sahda Resandriya Widhi (Railway Engineering), Rifqi Mukti Darmawan (Railway Engineering), and Adityo Wahyu Nugroho (Electrical Engineering).

The two PNM teams were guided by Sulfan Bagus Setyawan, S.ST., M.T. and take part in a series of PIMNAS activities which will take place at UMM from 30 November to 4 December 2022.

As additional information, the 35th PIMNAS was attended by 1,694 participants from 97 universities throughout Indonesia. PIMNAS is the final stage of implementing Student Creativity Program (PKM) activities and is a forum for students to present and communicate with each other through national-scale intellectual creation products.

Meanwhile, the PKM classes held at PIMNAS are PKM-Exact Research (PKM-RE), PKM-Social Humanities Research (PKM-RSH), PKM-Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), PKM-Community Service (PKM-PM), PKM-IPTEK Application (PKM-PI), PKM-Creation Initiative (PKM-KC), PKM-Innovative Work (PKM-KI), PKM-Video Constructive Ideas (PKM-VGK), and PKM-Written Futuristic Ideas (PKM-GFT).
