PNM – Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) held the Graduation Ceremony for the XVIII Applied Bachelors, Intermediate Experts, Young Experts for the 2022/2023 Academic Year on Saturday (30/09/2023). Taking place in the Ballroom of The Sun Hotel Madiun, this year PNM graduated 560 graduates from eight study programs (prodi). Apart from the parents of graduates and PNM academics, this year's graduation ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of Madiun, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and all invited guests.
In contrast to last year's graduation which was attended by 10 study programs, this year only eight study programs participated in the graduation. This is none other than because two study programs transformed from D3 to Applied Bachelor's. Therefore, students from these two study programs still take additional studies for one year. The two study programs in question, namely D3 Computerized Accounting, have transformed into a Bachelor of Applied Accounting in Taxation and D3 Automotive Engineering has transformed into a Bachelor of Applied Automotive Engineering Technology.
"This year PNM graduated 560 students. In terms of numbers this year it may be less than last year, namely more than 600 people. The reason is that two of our study programs have transformed from Diploma Three to Diploma Four (ed: Applied Bachelor). Next year, God willing, there will be more graduates." Said PNM Director Muhamad Fajar Subkhan, S.T., M.T in his speech.
The eight study programs that took part in the XVIII PNM graduation ceremony were the Business Administration Study Program (105 graduates), the English Language Study Program (64 graduates), the Accounting Study Program (101), the Computer Control Engineering Study Program (64 graduates), the Information Technology Study Program (66 graduates), the Electrical Engineering Study Program (57 graduates), the Railway Study Program (87 graduates), and the Metal Forming Engineering Study Program (16 graduates). Of the eight study programs, this year is the first time PNM has graduated Young Experts from the Metal Forming Engineering Study Program.

The XVIII PNM graduation this time was even more special because around 20 PNM graduates had already worked or been accepted for internships at various companies even before graduating. Among them were accepted by PT KAI, Skoda Transportation in the Czech Republic, and Jissho in Japan. Not only that, as many as 30 PNM graduates have also made various national achievements while studying, both in academic and non-academic fields.

At the XVIII Graduation, PNM also gave appreciation to the eight best graduates for moving forward together with their respective parents/guardians. Not only did they get the highest GPA in each study program, half of the best graduates also recorded other brilliant achievements.
